Is it already Tuesday?

My days just seem to blur together lately. I feel like my time off from work is busy than when I am at work!!! How crazy is that! I am sure it is because I have had to deal with so much going on at home with my sick kiddo. I have not mentioned this before but I my little guy has been undergoing some medical testing. Last year he started getting sick to his stomach often, it progressed, they did some testing and it came back that he had H. pylori. Well it started again this fall and has progressively gotten worse and worse. We are seeing a new GI dr. and he is doing all kinds of testing and so far nothing has been found. Last week was the worst, he was sick all week and out of school. He is complaining that his side hurts and his throat. We took him to the dr, then to the ER and they found nothing. Gave him all these different meds to take and none of them seem to be working. It is so frustrating to not know what is going on with him and not be able to make him better. We have another appointment this week and I am making jokes that I am going to chain myself to the chair in the dr. office till they figure something out! I am not really sure that I am joking! Haha!
I am still behind with my crafting time, I have not actually crafted in about 2 weeks, sad but true. I did however want to share with you my card that I made for my monthly card swap group last month.

I had so much fun doing this card. I cut the leaves using my cricut and my Mother's day cartridge, then inked them with Tim Holtz distress inks, let dry, heat imbossed the butterfly, then inked it with the distress inks, printed my sentiment on cardstock and popdotted to the card after I inked it. I did cuttlebug the background with the mesh embossing folder, love this folder but find that I hardly use it. This card is really not my style but I really loved trying the different inking techniques. When I did the leaves I inked the craft mat then sprayed with water and swooshed my leaves all around the craft mat. It gave the leaves a mottled look to them. The colors I used were broken china, tattered rose, shabby shutters, and a mixture of old paper and tea dye.

I am hoping that tomorrow I will have news about my son! If so I will be so happy!!! Until then...lets just hope today he is on the mend, cause this momma can't handle another day of playing nurse!
